Natsu Matsuri 2009

Natsu Matsuri is coming soon on 22 Aug this year.
As for what is it, it is actually a japanese summer festival held at the Japanese School- Changi Campus in Singapore.
http://abanzai.animeblogger.net/2008/08/24/singaporenatsu-matsuri-2008-the-japanese-school/
This web contains information about natsu matsuri which was held last year.

We will need tix to join in, i tried reserving 10 tix from the SPJCC's president.Yap, so it means only 10 ppl can go to this event;D
So interested participants please msg me @ 98566437Seniors are welcome to join.
non-J-FIRE members are allowed to join too, but our members have the priority though;D

EDIT*
the president of SPJCC is unable to get the tix for us, so we have to go there and queue up for the tix. They will start selling the tix at around 5, but i suggest that we queue up earlier as there will be ppl queuing up way earlier;D
So if you dont want to have a wasted trip there, dont be late for the meeting>D
Bring extra cash btw, i dont think they will accept nets/visa>.>"

SIG Week Recap + Cosplay Event Photos

Whooo~! My very first post on J-Fire's blog and also my first Blogger post, lolz.

Btw, it's Janice here...

Cosplay event was a great experience I must say :) Kudos to all of you kawaii juniors who put in so much effort and enthusiasm into this. I wouldn't have dared give cosplay a try if it weren't for all of you *hugs* You guys sure outdid yourselves. At the very least, SIG week was a great opportunity to show the college that J-Fire is still alive and kicking, lol. And that we aren't a buncha slackers who'd simply sit back and watch anime every week >_>

Honestly I first thought that J-Fire's future looks kinda bleak with our pathetic member count, but after tagging along with your "outings" (a.k.a. cosplay prepping haha), I was genuinely impressed by the commitment you guys showed :) And extra kudos for stretching SIG week to the fullest by holding the PS2 game session and the bookmark sales. It's a pity we couldn't have the graffiti wall and the karaoke session, but seriously... great job people! it's great to see you guys working on after the tiring cosplay event, even though you have studies to deal with.

What I'm very sure of right now: J-Fire is in good hands. You guys can really run the club, no need to worry too much, haha. I have confidence in all of you!

Fanny: Just be enthu and everything will work out fine >8D It's always been like that anyway, lol.
Jiahui: Focus more on your studies and less of Kakashi, okay? Or oyajis in general... especially Mr you-know-which-teacher.
Joei: Please... just don't turn J-Fire into Y-Fire* can already.
(*Y= yaoi)
Kelly: Your kickasspwnsomedeadly most coveted tablet skillz will take you a long way. Need I say more? 8D
Koftra: I'd love to see your tsundere go against Joei's yaoi. If a battle ensues, I'll root for you all the way.
Justina: Same sec school, same CCA. Same JC, same CCA again, lolz. Don't let their dirty hobbies contaminate you, k?
Jasmine: Sleep well, haha. And don't let their yaoi invade your dreams.
Clara: Fancy meeting you for the first time... in the toilet. And thanks for popping up at the perfect moment for cosplay. Welcome to J-Fire! :D (I found you on sgcafe, ohohohoh)

... wth? I just turned this into something like a farewell speech o_o And I'm not even an exco member, dammit.

I feel old.

That aside, I have a serious warning for you. Be afraid.

...

Whoever addresses me as "Uncle Yoite" will promptly receive a lethal dose from my magical (and rusty) finger. I've killed a handful already so keep those tongues sealed *deathglare* You know who you are.

Ahem... it's 3 in the morning and I'm under extreme confinement and isolation for the next few days. Pardon my abnormal behaviour.

Anyway, I'm sure you've had enough of that trash talk above so let's get down to business. I have laboured laboriously for the entire night and I'm now here to bring swift justice to the horror which is the first cosplay photo upload done by *beep* (spare ya the shame, missy). Enjoy.
